Apple en su evento de Septiembre 12 donde anunciaron por fin el iPhone 5 también como sabrán un nuevo Dock Connector llegó con el mismo el cuál se llama el Lightning, se rumora que con el mismo se puede hacer un host a los USB devices, así como reporta Macotakara.
Since old Dock connector regulation supports 3types of accessories as charging, serial and device, new Lightning supports additionally hosting USB devices.
Until Lightning debut, only iPad had USB device hosting Camera Connection Kit, now iPhone 5 and iPod touch (5th generation) will get new type of accessories.
Desde el Dock Connector al que todos estamos acostumbrados, la regulación que da soporte a 3 tipos de accesorios como cargadores, el serial y el dispositivo, el Lightning soporte devices USB adicionales. Hasta el debut del Lightning solamente el iPad tenia un tipo de hosting de USB el Camera Connection Kit, ahora el iPhone 5 y el iPod 5ta generación obtendrán nuevos accesorios.
Apple también confirmó que estarán ofreciendo adapters Lightning a HDMI y Lightning a VGA para los que necesiten capacidad Video Out.
